(Spenser Heaps, Deseret News) (Spenser Heaps, Deseret News) LOGAN, Utah — Police in Logan, Utah, have arrested 61-year-old Darrin Smith for sexual exploitation of a minor. According to a press release, Internet Crimes Against Children investigators with the Logan Police Department arrested Smith for downloading child pornography to a home computer. The download reportedly occurred in the fall of 2022. Smith is currently employed as a bus driver for the Cache and Logan School Districts, police said, and there is no evidence suggesting Smith used his position to commit offenses against minors.
