As first reported by The Athletic, the Utah Jazz have hired Will Hardy as their new head coach. It's the first major offseason domino to fall for a Jazz franchise that is significantly changing for the first time in years. Hardy comes to the Jazz from the Boston Celtics, and also cut his teeth as an NBA assistant under Gregg Popovich with the San Antonio Spurs. Hardy comes in on a five-year deal, which is a major commitment from the Jazz, and he emerged as the front-runner from a long and exhaustive interview process that included more than a dozen candidates.
