LAYTON — Plans for another Jack in the Box in Davis County — part of the fast-food chain's ongoing expansion into Utah — edge ahead in Layton. Following the opening of a Jack in the Box in Salt Lake City last June, the chain opened a drive-thru outlet in Ogden last week , generating long lines of autos. Another Jack in the Box is to open in Syracuse in September , according to the restaurant's website, and now comes word that plans in Layton are moving forward.
